• Operate drilling equipment and ensure adherence to SHEC policies and procedures and all relevant statutory regulations.

• Conduct drilling operations to meet planned meterage and core recovery targets.

• Prepare and submit daily performance reports.

• Ensure proper maintenance of drilling equipment, tools and accessories.

• Ensure timely availability of drilling consumables by providing information to clients.

• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for both surface and underground operations.

• Conduct drilling operations in a professional manner.

• Conduct pre-use checks on all drilling equipment.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Diamond Driller.

• A valid Blasting License and First Aid Certificate.

• Proven working experience as a diamond driller in a mine.
