Freda Rebecca Gold Mine, located in Bindura within the Shamva–Harare Greenstone Belt, is one of MGR’s key production engines. It has an established processing platform, a long production history and a low-grade, high-volume operating model. Strategically, the mine provides cash-generation capacity and processing scale, while its immediate resource priority is to improve mineral resource visibility, strengthen grade confidence and extend Life of Mine through accelerated exploration and resource delineation.

Jena Mine, located in Silobela within the Bubi/Bulawayan Greenstone Belt, is an underground narrow-vein gold operation with a long mining history. Its resource profile is characterised by narrow-vein mineralisation, existing underground workings and opportunities for targeted exploration and development. The strategic objective is to grow production, extend Life of Mine and convert current geological potential into a more robust reserve base.

Shamva Mine is a historically significant gold operation located northeast of Harare, with mining activity dating back to the late nineteenth century. It is positioned as a major growth asset within the MGR portfolio, supported by multiple orebodies, established mining infrastructure and scope for operational expansion. The mine’s resource-development focus is on improving plant capacity, strengthening ore supply, unlocking brownfield potential and supporting MGR’s wider production growth trajectory.
