About the Job
Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct regular surveys of the mine site including both surface and underground operations, to collect and monitor data.

Monitoring and verifying data from all survey activities.

Establish and update all survey markers required by the process (benchmarks, grade control boundaries, slope monitoring, etc.).

Perform volume calculations for stockpiles, ore bodies, and waste dumps using survey data.

Prepare and update mine survey plans, sections, and drawings.

Work closely with mine planners, geologists, engineers, and safety officers to ensure alignment on mine plans and provide survey support.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly survey reports detailing production, progress, variations, and compliance.

Maintain and update survey records, plans, and drawings ensuring all data is accurate and accessible.

Identify operational and safety hazards during surveys and report them immediately.
About You
-
Diploma in Surveying.

A minimum of 3 years experience in a Mining or Heavy Industry Environment.

Proficient in the use of Surveying software.
